IndustriALL India women discuss decent work29 August, 2014Some 40 women from IndustriALL affiliates from all over India met in Kolkata on 26 and 27 August to exchange experiences about what they have done so far and to think about what they want to do in the future. About 10 men leaders of the unions also took part in the workshop. It was held in the framework of the Asia Pacific union building project.
Les femmes membres de IndustriALL en Inde songent à un travail décent29 August, 2014Une quarantaine de femmes, membres des affiliés de IndustriALL en Inde, se sont réunies à Kolkata les 26 et 27 août, pour échanger des expériences sur ce qu’elles avaient réalisé jusqu’ici et songer à ce qu’elles voulaient faire dans l’avenir. Une dizaine d’hommes qui dirigent des syndicats ont également participé à l’atelier, organisé dans le cadre du projet de création de syndicat dans la région Asie-Pacifique.

Trainees win equal treatment at auto parts producer in India21 August, 2014Thanks to the commitment of the Plastic Omnium Varroc Kamgar Sangathna trade union, member of the IndustriALL Indian affiliate Shramik Ekta Mahasangh (SEM), workers of the auto parts producer employed as trainees will be granted the same rights and benefits as their colleagues on permanent contracts.
