New IEA report on fair and inclusive clean energy transitions

18 July, 2024The International Energy Agency’s (IEA) new report Strategies for Affordable and Fair Clean Energy Transitions, underscores that, despite the significant upfront investments required for transitioning to a clean energy system, the overall costs will eventually decrease for consumers due to much lower operating expenses. According to the IEA these findings will be crucial for policymakers, as it demonstrates that accelerating transitions can lead to a cheaper and more sustainable energy system.

Iran: oil and gas workers striking for better conditions

13 May, 2024Tres sindicatos italianos afiliados de IndustriALL: Federazione Italiana Lavoratori Chimica Tessile Energia Manifatture (FILCTEM-CGIL), Federazione Lavoratori Aziende Elettriche Italiana (FLAEI-CISL) y Unione Italiana Lavoratori Tessile Energia e Chimica (UILTEC-UIL), dieron por finalizada la huelga en Enel, después de meses de negociaciones con la dirección, que pretendía redefinir el modelo de relaciones laborales. Los sindicatos y la dirección de la empresa llegaron a un acuerdo a finales de abril.
