Understanding living wages29 May, 2024On 7-8 May, IndustriALL hosted a training workshop in Tunis, focusing on living wages and collective bargaining for unions representing Swedish companies in Tunisia's textile and garment sector. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Fédération Générale du Textile, de l'Habillement, Chaussure et Cuir (FGTHCC-UGTT), brought together approximately 20 unionists from companies like Autoliv, Sancella, and Alva.
Empowering women in Tunisia: a workshop on health and safety24 May, 2024On 9-11 May, IndustriALL organized a workshop on occupational health and safety for the Tunisian women’s network. It is a step towards empowering Tunisian women in the textile, base metal and petrochemical sectors, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for their rights and safety in their respective industries.
Just Transition in Tunisia22 March, 2024Following the decision in last year’s regional conference, IndustriALL and affiliates from the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) organized a meeting on Just Transition. More than 50 union leaders from the country’s textile, metals, oil and mining sectors participated in the meeting on 28 February.
